Good morning.

I'm back home in lovely hot Spain.

Although it has to be said I left a very hot Birmingham - in fact, the weather was really ok the whole time I was in the UK.

I landed at 8.54pm last night and within 14 minutes!!!! I was in the car going home. I practically ran from the aeroplane into arrivals.

Today, apart from my laundry, I am doing nothing but lazing round the pool with some magazines.

It is hot again. We missed the thunder storms and lightning which we could hear and see last night.
Rain forecast for tonight.
Some shopping and more gardening. Lots of weeding. How do thy manage to grow without water but the flowers wither.
Have a good d ay and stay in the cool if possible

Morning cruiser

Well it is cooler here today, and cloudy. Running the fan and taking that cool shower last night worked a treat, and we both slept really well Rain is forecast later which will be welcome as everywhere is parched, but if it could hold off until the afternoon that would be nice, as I am meeting my friend A at 10.30, at Portivo Lounge in the docks, and we were hoping to sit outside No pleasing some people (me) is there? Not seen her for a few weeks, as she is a new grandma and busy helping out, so it will be lovely to catch up

This afternoon B wants to go shopping, today is her only day off work this week, and she needs new work clothes now she is doing more hours, so if A and I are finished gossiping by then I'll join her

Harry is coming tomorrow, for the weekend Yayyyyy!!

Oh and riding at 9pm. I forgot about that.

My friend (the girls riding instructor) rang me yesterday to see if I fancied going out on a hack tonight. She's not been getting out on the horses much this week as its been so hot so has been going after 9pm through the woods and obviously needs to be back before it gets dark. So as she can only ride one at a time she rang to see if I fancied going.

We have our sun back, but not the heat - yet A lovely, cooling breeze though

Washing in and will be upstairs soon, should take about half an hour to dry

Morning all - definitely a lot cooler and overcast today. I quite enjoyed the warm day yesterday but my cats I think will be very pleased that it's cooled down

Ally, definitely enjoy a relaxing day by the pool. If that was me I'd be needing a whole week of relaxing days to catch my breath
Kaz, enjoy catching up with your friend and if you do make it enjoy the shopping with B. And yay that Harry is coming for the weekend; it'll be nice for you to see him again - when was he last 'home'?
Cruiser, enjoy the shopping and the gardening and when you're finished with the garden, fancy coming over my way and doing a spot of weeding there? If you find the answer to the weeds vs flower bit then please do let me know - I have the same problem.

A usual work day for me today and then visiting a friend this evening and then off to Hampton Court Flower Show tomorrow. It's meant to be a super hot day again so I've put lots of bottles of water into the fridge and freezer

Morning everybody beautiful day here but to hot in the night
Just went to get the wheelie bin in
And was talking to my neighbour when the bin cleaner man came to do his bin
So he did mine
Once every 2months £5,00 so I'm pleased it looks like New
In the garden today it's a nice breeze at the moment
Tia we we t to Hampton court show once it rained solid we went from by the London eye opposite
By boat a lovely journey the next time we we t it was sunshine

Morning all, another lovely day here, we are able to keep the place nice and airy by opening the hatch to the terrace as well as the windows. Packing this morning......did I mention we are going away tomorrow Mr Osc is taking me out for lunch and then he is playing golf. Need to print boarding passes, order a taxi for the morning (4.45am ), defuzz my legs, and leave the car to Miss Osc's for the duration. Also got a guy coming to replace the shower unit in the downstairs shower, he is due sometime after 2pm. Very early to bed tonight Have a good day everyone

Morning all
Very dark and gloomy here, but only a very few spots of rain so far. Cooler and fresher but still have all the doors and windows open, I shall be rushing around if it pours down

Glad you're safely back home Ally, a day by the pool is just what I could fancy

Our weeds are doing wonderfully too
