Another hot day after a night with little sleep due to the heat.
May mow the lawn this afternoon. Shopping this morning.

We slept ok here, despite the heat, but got woken early by Fraggle barking, he could hear people outside through the open windows Daft animal! With the extreme heat that is forecast today I think I'll stay home, potter a bit, get all the washing cleared. I did go out in the end yesterday, for a walk, but town was uncomfortable, I kept feeling as though I needed to cough all the time but couldn't I am normally fine, good in fact, in heat, and really enjoy it, but not this year

Good morning.

Gorgeously hot here - preparing me for getting home to red alert temps.

Been for a nerdy Norma stroll round the airport perimeter.

I'm nearly all packed - just a few last bits to get from the shops.

Lunch out with Jackie then to the airport for 3.30 - my flight is at 5pm.

Don meeting me and after dumping my case we're going to Paco's for a good old catch up!

J & C are away for 2 weeks doing summer camp (different ones) J up near Madrid and C to the west of Malaga. They're not home for another 12 days.

I will also have the pleasure of seeing Conor's new purchase....a motorbike. He showed me pictures on whatsapp the other day and it does look shiney new.

Saundra the past ten years or so I've been fine, and I thought I'd grown out of hay fever (had it terribly as a youngster) but this summer, especially in town here around traffic, it's taking my breath away. Might need to see the doc about it I think, get an inhaler or drops Hope yours clears soon (((((x))))))

Forgot to add, poor old Becks has a long shift today, and the air con has packed up in the shop and can't be fixed until Friday Hopefully they'll have a fan going though, otherwise as well as being horrid for the staff the customers won't linger either

I've just seen a post on fb from a friend in Northampton - she's had an email this morning to say her daughter's school is closed today because of the heat.

I saw a little girl being walked home yesterday by the school nurse
The school is only minutes away
I don't see any need to shut a school tho
Health and safety I expect
Kaz if had a spray of the Dr but it made me very tired and feel odd felt worse
