My last full day here so it's shopping with Jackie this morning and I'm taking her out tonight - it's her birthday on Saturday so I'll treat her to a few cocktails and an Indian meal at the Ginger Tree.

We have cloud but it's still hot and this morning, a little muggy

I'm off down to the village soon, we really must get our keys backs from the old agent and Grumpy is going to paint tops of walls, so the cloud is ideal.

Wonder if we'll get another 2 viewings today

Morning Saundra It looks roasting at Wimbledon already, I'm sure watching on telly in the cool with a bowl of strawberries will be much more comfortable

Not sure of my plans yet, I have a bit of ironing that I'm about to start before it gets too hot, and then I might go out but I'll play it by ear, I did feel a bit breathless in the heat yesterday, so I might stay home and enjoy the garden instead

Managed to get quite a bit done yesterday. Expecting another removal chap any time now, getting quotes from three companies, the first one came round yesterday afternoon, number three is due tomorrow. Also arranged for the British Red Cross to pick up some furniture we won't have room for. It's all go here

Off to the cinema to see Minions later, ridiculously excited. Afterwards we'll have a late lunch/early dinner out.

It's been a mind blowing day here. But I'll put it on the homes board.
Apart from that, worked at my FILs, and cooked an impromptu dinner with 10 mins notice for 7. Busy day pork chops, stir fry and mash potatoes, with sticky date pudding and ice cream, and can't forget the champagne! (Oops better call it bubbles)

It's tennis watching for me this afternoon. Mrs A is off playing Bridge - a game she is very good at
but which is not my choice of entertainment.

Got back from our cruise yesterday afternoon.
I did bring warm weather back home. Still working my way through the emails, and the post. Mowing the lawn will have to wait till the week end.
Out to the bank and shopping this morning. Going dancing this evening.

Afternoon all It is a gorgeous day here, I've whizzed through my list (so satisfying crossing stuff off!) and have two loads of washing on the line, that is the last lot before the hols. I've sat in the sun reading, been for a walk on the pier, just had my lunch and heading back out to the terrace for some more sun. I can feel mysel slipping nicely into holiday mode Enjoy the rest of the day, and I hope it is as nice where you are as it is here
