After a wonderful 3 days with Craig and Lani I'm getting the 1pm train back to Birmingham.

We're meeting up with 3 friends tonight for a drink and a Chinese meal.

Morning all, quite a lot of cloud about but nice and warm. Lots of bits and pieces to do today and thankfully my back is much improved. Mr Osc is going to play golf later. I see that our holiday destination in Italy is going to be very very very hot next week Have a good day everyone

Not quite as sunny as it was earlier, but dry and lovely and warm
Not happy - believe it or not that damned parcel still hasn't turned up
They've no idea how much it disrupts things and I'm too cross about it to go into it right now, but basically Bb had (rightly) said that no, we couldn't really go away for a few days as he had too much work on

Anyway, in a minute I shall put all that out of my mind and in its box where it belongs
Going up into the village in a mo to collect a prescription and get some bread (don't do home-baked for fast days) and a few bits, then a spot of gardening in the parts without sun

Morning all. First day back at work for me today - though I'm only here until 1pm so not too bad.

Meeting my sister and Roy after work to put the tent up. They are taking the girls away to Norfolk for a week during the summer holidays and as they are also taking their two dogs, their tent is too small. So they're having a practice run at putting our tent up and it means we can check all is okay with it at the same time as it hasn't been up for two years. Fingers crossed!

Hoping to run later but its really warm at the moment so I'm going to have to leave it til much later - probably around 8pm. Don't want to go later than that as its a bit off the beaten track where I run and I don't want to be there when it starts to go dark. But it means running after having dinner - I've never done that before!!!

The weather looks a little uncertain here, but we're not going out today as we have friends
coming to visit us this afternoon for a good old chin-wag about putting the world to right.

Played with my new tablet yesterday evening and I'm really pleased with it. Didn't have to download all my apps either as it copied lots over from my phone which is also Samsung.

Phone calls for me today, need to arrange for the Red Cross peeps to come and collect some furniture and get some removal companies to quote.
