A successful day

It has been a long hard slog for some boots, but today on the way back from a nice little garden centre, my friend Kay and I stopped off at the Reiker Factory. I bought these

except mine were £69.99. I am usually a 5/6 but the 5 seemed a bit big, probably why they had no 4's left. Oh well can always wear thick socks or buy some insoles, they were too lovely to leave.

We then called in Blacks and I showed Kay the brown coat, but when we got home my coat was here

Yes I do like the brown one still, but having tried them on one after the other, the only difference for £40 is the colour and as Kay said in a week you will have forgotten that. Like the boots the coat is too good to miss

So whereas both should have cost £180 I got them for £110 so basically the boots were free

I like the boots, very much, smart but practical, and the saving on the coat makes it well worth compromising on the colour - I think your friend is right about that
