Good morning Friday

Postby Weka » 26 Jun 2015, 07:47

Morning everyone. I'm sitting here with my feet up and s glass of wine

Busy day. A busy good day. Lots of achievements.

Netball practice with missy
Speech assessment with o
Sold the last cot
Fixed the dryer
Mad dash ring around drs (I'll put more on health board, but it sounds more dramatic than it is)
Eldest doesn't need reading recovery now
Youngest doesn't need speech therapy
Sold out old TV for $1, it's $5 to dump it
Got my glasses fixed and o's straightened
And our PC is back to having a legit copy of windows on it

So on the whole, a good day, and a well deserved wine
Everything happens for a reason

Morning everyone.

Enjoy your days as best you can.

High clouds here and it is going to be muggy, but hey, as per my thread, I am "Not Going Out" thanks to the gas people.

It's a total PITA for you (((Frank)))

Thanks Ria :D Saundra I am tempted, I saw a lovely dress yesterday in River Island, but I have a jacket I've only worn a few times and a couple of dresses that would go very nicely, so we'll see ;) xx

Morning :)
Phew, it seems to have quietened down a bit here now
Such a big kerfuffle over the past few days; Bb's work gets delivered; a box apparently was 'left' on Tuesday, but not here it wasn't, I was in at 12.16 :?
It emerged the driver said he left it 'behind a bush'. I told Bb's boss that there are no bushes large enough to hide a box like that and had no end of 'are you sure's' from her, Bb went and knocked on doors, etc...

It wasn't the usual company because it was a day late, so goodness knows what happened but anyway they've now sent a duplicate, which has just been delivered, but she's still been on the phone on and off since 8.20
In the end I went outside and took photos of the 4 houses in a row to show her there's no hiding place :D

Anyroad, it's nice here at the moment although apparently there will be showers around.
No idea what I'm doing yet, believe it or not there's another box due 'before 12', which might not have all the right papers in, and if not then Bb will have to either download, and print, or scan some he's got and print those. It's showcards, not just a sheet of paper and I haven't dared ask how many :?
Our printer's a bit temperamental plus it's quite a job, so he'll need me to help. It had better turn up!

Have a fab day Debih :)
You too Ally, and the weekend, sounds lovely :)
Meriad Hove's always nice whatever the reason :)
Weka you definitely deserve that wine :)
Kaz now you and B can celebrate properly :)
Saundra that's a shame, although surely dogs like Jack Russells do tend to nip, was it - and the kids - just being a bit boisterous and excited? x
Wm have a good day in :D
