Channel 4 Tonight WW in Dispatches

Channel 4 tonight at 8.00pm 'Dispatches' and how WW make their millions! I don't mind if they make millions because it works but it should be interesting.

Interesting! I'll watch it on catch up though, because if Mick can't watch Uni Challenge and yell the wrong answers at the telly life here will not be worth living.................... :P

Well Mick went to his study to watch Uni Challenge, so B and I are watching this after all. It's a bit half-arsed really, some skinny blonde journalist trying to do a big expose and hatchet job on WW, but the undercover filming made me giggle. What - WW sell their own products at meetings??  Not exactly shocking stuff is it? :?

Very unfair and one-sided IMO. They emphasised the prepackaged foods that WW sell, and not once did they mention the fact that all fruit and veg (except spuds) is free on WW, and you are encouraged to eat lots of it. That they talk about eating enough lean protein, and how important it is to eat healthily, have good breakfasts, not to skip meals for junk........ No, instead they interviewed a 'scientist' opining about the amount of salt and sugar in prepackaged diet foods...........

Oh and that MP annoyed me - she should be sorting out the mess the country is in, not bleating about diet companies :?

Bad one-sided journalism then Kaz and on the strength of your reviews I'm not even going to watch it on catch-up. I would only get cross :x
