I have another grand nephew!

My brother phoned me around 2pm to tell me his older daughter was having her planned section this afternoon - she hadn't told anyone as she didn't want to be swamped with good luck messages. It was all quite delayed as she was late going to surgery and I was getting a bit twitchy when I hadn't heard by about 5pm, but he finally phoned to say she had had a little boy at 5.15pm and all is well. This is my older niece, she will be 40 next week, and having tried for many years including two failed rounds of IVF, she conceived naturally. Her sister, who is 10 years younger, had her first (also a boy) about two months ago. My brother is beyond thrilled, he's 71 and it is so wonderful that he finally has two grandchildren.
