Humans!!

Postby Kaz » 17 Jun 2015, 13:24

I had meant to post about it before, but seeing a post about it on FB reminded me   Set in a parallel modern Britain, Synths (human-like robots) are being used as domestic help, factory fodder and even in the adult industry. The main female lead is Katherine Parkinson, of IT Crowd and Doc Martin fame, playing the overworked lawyer mother of three whose husband takes on a Synth as a nanny/housekeeper against her wishes...................

What a well acted, well scripted and totally creepy programme this is! If you haven't seen it I heartily recommend 8-) 8-) :D

You know, this passed me by. I saw it on the TV guide but the strap line didn't grab me. Maybe it is one of those gems that never get talked about.

I will give it ago on catch-up.

William Hurt is in it as well, as a doddery old man :o I just loved him in Body Heat, with Kathleen Turner, he was a real heartthrob of mine at one time
