Work 4 - 9. It' s final term exams this week so lots to do and loads of marking. My classes all had listening exams yesterday and was relieved that they'd all improved in scores since January. Phew!

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Quite warm here too 8-) 8-) 8-)

Just waiting for himself, as I have to cut his hair this morning, then we're off beer topping up - should probably get some food too ;) - and then not doing a lot.

Well done to your students Ally :D

Have a good day everyone xx

Gooood morning both of you - enjoy the sunshine!

Well done to your students Ally :)

I am hoping the driving rain and strong winds here are Winter's last gasp :x    Totally fed up with it

Not much planned for today - a bit of ironing and general housework then, if the rain dies off a bit, a walk later :)

Sad news about Charles Kennedy, politics needs honest men and they seem sadly lacking :? :(

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all

Well done to the students Ally - you must be very pleased and proud of them. But then it's also due to you, so well done you as well x
Ton, enjoy the beer and food shopping; glad you have your priorities right ;)

Kaz, I agree. I'm also totally fed up with this weather and am more than ready for some warm sunshine and balmy evenings to sit outside. Today is such a dismal, grey, damp, windy and just horrid day - just as well I'm in the office with no plans for the day.

Have a lovely day all

x

Oh me too Ria!! I bought new solar lights for the trees behind the decking weeks ago now, but haven't put them out yet, what with all the wind and rain :(

Morning all :D

What a wild and windy night, not much better now. People down the road are about to have a loft extension, all the scaffolding and covers were put up yesterday, tbh I'm amazed it's all still intact :o

We're off out to the cinema later this morning, going to see San Andreas. We saw the trailer and the special effects look amazing. Afterwards it's a late lunch/early dinner somewhere.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon all, wasn't too bad overnight although it was cold. Been changeable here today though, and the wind is quite strong. We've been out and about, Lidl shopping, brought a picture to the framers as the glass was broken (the only breakage of all our moving so that can't be bad) and Mr Osc has treated himself to a cordless Dyson, which he is busy setting up downstairs - he does all the hoovering now and he was fed up hauling Henry around the place. Actually excellent service from the shop - we were looking online before we went out and had gone halfway through the ordering procedure, but then decided to just go to the shop as we were going to be out anyway. While we were in Lidl, the shop phoned to ask if we had had had trouble with the process and I explained. When we got there (it is a big shop) someone was watching out for us, we were told all about the product and given €25 off :D :D we were most impressed, we have bought lots of stuff there over the years but they wouldn't 'know' us.

Babysitting for a little while this evening, otherwise taking it easy. Hope everyone is having a good day, and that Mr and Mrs Loz are enjoying their anniversary :D

Afternoon :)
Just as horrendous here, the main road was blocked with a tree down earlier.
It's brightened up a lot now, still ever so windy though!

I was up and showered and out for my art therapy course, then back and straight out again to the tip with that stuff that had been in Mr Yeti since Friday
Poor Mr Yetis smelt like a compost heap, which really he was  But there was no queue at all (since the weather was so bad) and we stopped in the lane to buy freshly-laid eggs too :)
Then back for lunch and out again for my jab; Bb just had time to make me a cup of tea before he went out and I've been sitting down since then :)

Well done and good luck to your students Ally :)
Hope you enjoyed your fish and chips Saundra :)
And I really, really hope we all get this promised nice weather pdq :)
