Morning all :D

It was lashing down with rain earlier, now it's just wet and very windy. Poor E's just gone off to get the papers, just as well he's reasonably solid or he'd be taking flight

We had a nice walk round the harbour yesterday, but looking at the weather the best idea is to stay indoors and be extremely lazy. Cooking an M&S rotisserie chicken with veggies for dinner later and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning everyone.

It's not very pleasant here. The sort of day for stopping in. It's hard to believe it
is June tomorrow. But they do forecast that it might be more Spring-like by next
weekend - I hope so, as we will be off then for a five-day holiday at Eastbourne.

Have a nice day.

Morning all.

Ideal bowling conditions for the Kiwis at Headingley. A few spits and spots from the low, low clouds in a fierce westerly wind directly down the pitch from the Kirkstall lane end.

It is rumoured to brighten up early in the afternoon. If it does I will go for a walk, if not it will be TV and snacks. :P :P

Morning all, it is not raining here and Mr Osc did sit in the sun for a while, but he said when the sun goes in it is freezing cold so he came back in. Golf on the telly all afternoon. I am going to finish the cardi I was knitting for my niece's little boy who is now 6 or 7 weeks old - well, he did arrive early and catch me unawares  Lamb shanks cooking away in the slow cooker, which we will have with mash and broccolli. Enjoy your day everyone :)

Change of plan - we didn't realise there's footie on, so the bbq is now for tomorrow and it's jacket spuds, beans and cheese for Grumpy and risotto for me :D
