payday today and that meant (finally!) ordering my new washing machine; to be delivered on Saturday.

After much deliberating, thinking, ruling out, adding to the list to consider, comparing etc I finally went with a Samsung; purely because it comes with a 5 year parts and labour guarantee :lol:

It does meet all the other criteria I wanted so I'm a happy person (who soon will have clean clothing again!) :lol:

Maybe soon joining you, Ria. Mine this morning went through its cycle OK but everything was dry when I took the things out. Checking, the powder was still in the tray and it had not taken any water. Feared the element would have burnt out but put it on again and it washed normally. Perhaps just inlet filter blocked? Hope so.!

Don't do what us men do - you must read the destruction book. And when you do you need to learn the settings for the wash cycles you will use the most off by heart.
