can I check what the expected timing is, ie is it a lunch meet to go on into the afternoon or a later evening meet (just so I know about budgeting for overnight accommodation, pet care arrangements and train tickets)

Well I would imagine us all coming in at different times, from lunchtime onwards? I'm only an hour from Brum so can be there early, but others have further to travel...............

For me it would have to be at least an overnight stop, though with the way travel times go I am considering two nights - the day and the day before.

Just had a look at train times (admittedly for April as that's the most the national rail system will let you pre-book) but it seems I could very easily get there just before midday and then last train home would be 9pm which gets me home just before midnight

So definitely count me in.

We are currently thinking about going to Blackpool to dance over the previous weekend and then travelling to Brum on the Tuesday, staying one night and flying home from Brum on Wednesday. The train journey time is just over 2 hours and there seems to be a train every hour. It'll take us a while to think about it and work out the finances, but Mr. Osc is keen if we can factor in some Blackpool dancing
