   Sorry but I can't pay £78 for a pair of hair straighteners, I just can't. I don't have enough interest in my hair for that

Honest I don't. I brush it in the morning and that is that. I never brush it at work and sometimes when I pop in the loo I scare myself, especially if it was a windy walk across the car park   I rarely do that mirror thing to see the back of it, I just think out of sight is out of mind.

I am struggling with it at the moment, as my hairdresser has lost her way and it looks like it has been cut with a knife and fork, but that is another story

When my hair was longer I had a pair of Remington straighteners which cost me around £35. On a girly weekend away a friend told me not to bother bringing mine as she would be taking her GHDs and I could use those.
I tried them and the results were no better than my cheapo Remingtons. I know when I mentioned to my hairdresser that I used Remington ones she said that she used them herself at home in preference to GHDs.

Even if I had I can think of a thousand things I would rather have bought for me. I have my hair cut every 6 weeks. I will manage with my cheapy Nicky Clarkes (not Babyliss), if I ever use them. I still use my hot brush so not sure why I think straighteners are the answer anyway
