Good Morning Sunday

Postby Kaz » 03 May 2015, 08:00

Morning all :)

It's raining here, not very nice at all!! Food shopping planned for later, then I'm cooking a big roast as Harry asked for one ( :D ) and he's here until tomorrow, so we have time for one 8-) Can't believe this weather really, a few weeks ago we were basking in sunshine and now it's like winter again - I put the heating on yesterday! In May

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Enjoy your roast Kaz, lovely to be with the family for Sunday lunch :D

We're popping into Aldi, to get more beer, for when we come back  ish, then I want to get some houseworkery stuff done.

Bbq for himself - hopefully without any rain this time 8-) and salada for me, because I need to use the lettuce up

Enjoy your day, everyone, whatever the weather xx

Morning all. I'm the only one up here so far.

It's disgusting here. I think today will be reading/tv/sewing.

Someone will have to get wet as Millie still needs walking. No doubt it will be me!

Morning all :D

Very wet and miserable here, feel sorry for all the peeps who've organised outdoor events today.

Only saw two bungalows yesterday in the end, one cancelled as the vendors decided not to market. Got the call just before we left home so no harm done. It seems quite a regular occurrence down here, lots of old people who can't seems to make up their minds :? The one round the corner, although done nicely, wouldn't work for E. The loft extension with the main bedroom was accessed by very steep stairs and they hadn't properly opened up the space so it was right under heavily sloping eves, much too low for him to move around in. The one we had higher hopes for (the private sale) is in the ideal location, but goodness knows why he's marketing it right now as it's most definitely a work in progress, add to that his price reflects the finished article but he's trying to sell it as it stands now. Shame as we'd be interested, but can't afford to pay what he's asking and do all the considerable work it still needs.

No plans for today, cooking a rotisserie chicken for dinner later and that's as exciting as it gets

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning :)
Yes, it's pretty awful here too :(
Such a shame, there's a good show at the New Forest park, heavy horses and all sorts, plus loads of stalls, but I'm not going with it like this.
It's meant to clear up a little bit so we're planning on popping into town later. If M&S have any of the rotisserie chickens left I might get one of those :)

Ton why can't you eat your lettuce with whatever you're barbequing?
Kaz you are funny, haven't you lived in the UK before
Jen people are strange aren't they, why do they put places on the market without any intention of selling them?!
Hope you all manage to enjoy the day
Di

Morning all, this entertaining business is tiring  our guests left at 12.30am and the two of us are exhausted! We had a lovely evening though, and enough leftovers to feed us today, which is good. The weather is much improved after almost 24 hours of rain, but it is apparently just a temporary hiatus  Today will involve a lot of slumping in our chairs and maybe a walk on the pier!! Enjoy your Sunday everyone :)

I don't remember having the heating on in May before though Di - I think I'm getting old, I can't bear to be chilly at all these days

Anyway, the sun came out after all, it's not that bad here at all this afternoon - in fact I put a small wash on and that's drying nicely :D

Glad you enjoyed your visitors Osc :)

That's a shame about your viewings Jen  It can be really frustrating, house-hunting  xxxx

This was for my own benefit as I was looking for me talking about putting it on in June or July but found this instead :D
