Thanks everyone for your loving good wishes. I cannot imagine why, when five others who went in before me stated they did not feel a thing. For me it was an absolutely agonising experience, needless to say I was the exception to the rule. I have more sight today in my right eye. I think I crushed the poor nurses hand, evidently my experience was unusual. I was told I had a hardened cataract. I shall keep the one in my left eye, I truly do not think I could go through such an agonising experience again. The nursing staff and doctors were incredible. We are blessed with having such a compact, spotless caring
