Morning all :)

Sunshine here, not sure how chilly it is yet until I go out to the washing line ;) I'm off to the garden centre today, I need a few more nice ceramic or terracotta pots, as I've bought a few too many plants for the pots I've already got   I'd also like a nice new vase, a tall thin square one I think, and they have lots of lovely stuff up there 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all

Kaz I also want to be visiting a garden centre vs having to sit at my desk :( no fair!

Lovely sunny day here as well and it seems that that bitterly cold wind has dwindled a teeny bit; it doesn't seem as biting this morning. Usual work day for me so nothing exciting to report

have a lovely day all x

Good morning ally and everybody else who has posted.
Had heavy rain and thunder in the night. Still some grey clouds about.
Have taken mrs.e to have aromatherapy. She has it before we go on holiday.
Will be pottering today, doing some more packing.

Morning all. Wet and bleak here this morning.

Our morning started off with another trip to the nurse for a blood test for L. We went on Friday for us both to have one - me for my thyroid and her for a variety of things to try and get to the bottom of why she has now had a sore throat since January. She was really nervous and the nurse couldn't get any blood on the first two attempts which made her worse. However, she was very brave (after almost passing out the second time) and let them have a third go and they managed to get three vials of blood.

Then I had a phone call on Tuesday to say that one of the vials was contaminated and they needed to do it again! So back we went. At least they got the blood first go but she nearly passed out again. We both go back next Tuesday for our results.

No major plans for the rest of the day. I am seeing the back man at 3.30 (my back is about 90% better and even more so since we got the new mattress) but I'm hoping that this session will do the last 10%. Other than that I want to sort through the freezer to make space for the next batch of beef, whole lamb and half a pig that's due to come soon.
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here at the moment, fingers crossed it doesn't turn freezing cold and wet as it did yesterday :o

We're off out to M&S and Tesco for our usual weekly shop. Bit annoyed with myself, had a delivery from Tesco yesterday and forgot to order one of the heavy items so will have to get that along with the fresh stuff today.......doh!!

Hope you all have a good day :D
