Home to finally get round to watching the Masterchef final!!!! Amazingly I still don't know who won.

Work 4 - 8 then meeting Don for a couple of beers and some tapas.

Well it is tipping it down here, it looks like the tide came in overnight I need to go out later, to the Post Office in town (we don't have a local one any more) but think I might get the bus I'm really glad I got my washing done yesterday B is working a long shift today, she's also doing a lot of revision at the moment, her exams start next Thursday!

It still feels odd, typing without my long fingernails, like having stubby paws

Morning all - well a nice early start for me today to drop off the car (thanks for the wishes Kaz! ) and at my desk about 20 minutes earlier than normal.

It really isn't a very pleasant morning is it? We had a bit of rain overnight as well and I'm really starting to get fed up with this cold wind. I can cope with cold and I can cope with wind, but not the two combined. I am beyond ready for warmer evenings and days now.

We've got to be here between 12-4 today for the water peeps so rushing around so we can pop into the village this morning.

Morning all. Its lovely here today after a really heavy downpour last night.

The car is safely at the garage and I'm hoping it will be ready around 3pm. My work colleague picked me up from the garage (she lives nearby it) and as she finishes at 3pm I'm hoping to grab a lift with her and go fetch it. I have to ring them around 2.30pm to find out. If it isn't I might go fetch it tomorrow morning - I can catch the bus to Wirksworth (where the garage is).

No real plans today other than work, fetch car (hopefully) and taxi service tonight for Guides.

Morning all
Pretty yucky here too, rain overnight, very cold and windy, we've already had one huge downpour and no doubt more to come. I suppose we haven't had much rain for a while but we've certainly had more than enough of the cold wind!

Glad to say the cricket we watched last evening was a really exciting match, hoping today's game will be too. Bb won't be back till about 8.30 though, so I won't be saving the whole thing for us to watch later. I shall probably watch and record it for him, then he can skip through some of it
Since it's not a day for going outside unless you have to, I guess I'll be doing boring paperwork/cleaning/tidying etc until then.
