Morning all, bright and sunny out there, but obviously cold as people are out walking well wrapped up. We got back from Miss Osc's yesterday evening thoroughly exhausted! Yesterday I brought Michael to football in the pouring rain and freezing cold, and now I feel as if I am getting a cold  We have friends coming for a meal this evening, our first time "entertaining" in our new home so I have work to do, going to make a trifle, the place needs to be vacuumed and dusted. Also want to go to the local market, there's a local young man there who takes and sells wonderful photos of the area and I want to buy one as a 70th birthday present. So a busy day ahead. Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday :)

Morning all :)

Dull again here and going to stay that way I think.
Sounds like you had fun Ally - you'll enjoy Masterchef :D
Can't be bothered watching the marathon, it's like a repeat isn't it :D

Two more matches in the IPL today, and dinner to think of, a bit of shopping...
Hope you all enjoy the day

I agree about the marathon dif but it does take alot of guts for some people just seen a elderly lady at the back walking with a zimmer frame thingy
I do get fed up with the elite runners tho
If only I had sky sport I might go back to it

Morning all - a bit of a lie in for me after my rather rude 3.30am wake up when Abbie bought in a mouse and deposited it on the bedroom floor. Said mouse then scurried under the bed so I spent the next hour trying to catch and release it (successfully I might add ;) )

A pottering at home day for me today; got a few things to do in the garden but it's rather chilly out there. Got some brisket yesterday so that's about to go into the slow cooker - yum - and other than that just the regular cleaning and tidying to be done.

have a lovely day all and Ally, take it easy and remember - hair of the dog works! ;-)

Morning all :) We managed a bit of a sleep in which was nice :D I've not slept well on the whole this week, so to get a good night was great 8-) :)

It's a bit grey here, but yesterday started out like this, and then brightened up later so am hoping for the same ;) Just food shopping, then catching up on the iplayer later, as per :)

Sounds as though you all have nice plans - enjoy the cricket Di :D

Have a good day all :) xx

Good morning my friends.

Weather's a bit doubtful here this morning, but we won't be going out anywhere.
What with the snooker and the London Marathon, we will be watching TV all day!

Hope you are all feeling fine. Have a pleasant day.
