Sorry to hear this Shell, but I am beginning to be convinced that the antibiotics scare thing has lead to Drs sometimes under-dosing in some cases.

The infection brought on by my bike accident took about seven weeks of continuous antibiotic treatment, and that included five days of intravenous drips in hospital, followed by two weeks of alternate oral doses of two different very strong antibiotics.

If Tim needs time off to rest and recuperate and let the drugs do their thing, then that is what has to happen. He has no option but to follow orders. I assume that he does not want to end up in emergency ward 10.

No he doesn't, but he doesn't feel too bad to be honest so there is no chance of him taking time of work WM

I was never really ill with it MM, except when I overdosed with Amoxy and had an awful rash!
