First of all, we found an amazing film on Sky on Demand - Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, with Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock, a fantastically moving film about a young boy (borderline Aspergers) whose father dies on 9/11. You could hear a pin drop in the room, we didn't even pass comment until it was over because we didn't want to miss one second.

Then, in complete contrast, an absolutely hysterically funny episode of Mrs. Brown's Boys - it's the one you will see in the UK on Monday, so don't miss it, have tissues nearby for the tears of laughter!!

That clashes with Borgen, which I normally catch up on.

We have been watching some recorded episodes of Michael Portillo's "Great British Railway Journeys",
which are on BBC2 every evening. They are so interesting and well worth watching.

I watched this every night last week and really enjoyed it.

He has a nice way about him and his enthusiasm for his journeys was lovely to see.

I love Michael Portillo's series. He did on in Ireland, and everything he talked about was so accurate, with no Oirish stuff. It's safe to assume that the rest of the series is accurate also, and he has such a nice personality, we really enjoy it.
