Good afternoon everyone.

We had a lovely day at Kew yesterday. The weather was perfect.
I was surprised by how much Kew Gardens had changed since I was
last there, but as that was about seventy years ago, I suppose that
was to be expected. The tropical greenhouse, which, the last time
I saw it was filled with individual specimens, now was like a jungle.

But we both did enjoy the outing - one of the best for a long time.
We're having a quiet day today.

Hope you are all fine, and enjoying this lovely Spring weather.

Evening all, another lovely day here, due to change by Friday :( I was up and out early to the hairdressers, then did the ironing when I got home - we are going to Miss Osc's tomorrow to babysit until Saturday as they are going away to a wedding - so I wanted everything up to date. I had intended going for a walk but instead fell asleep in the chair   and then have been getting our stuff ready for the few days away. Might get out later.

Aggers we were in Kew a few years back and loved it, I particularly liked that little house with all the paintings and drawing by the woman who travelled the world with not much more than her painting equipment, it was fascinating.

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone :)

The little house (Queen Charlotte's Cottage?) was only open at weekends.
There is so much to see at Kew - certainly too much for one day.
