I have had enough of BBC F1

For the chaps here

I have had enough of BBC F1

Postby Workingman » 19 Apr 2015, 17:17

The other week in China, a race it was only showing highlights of, it blasted the result on the front of its News page.

This week the commentators were so far up the backsides of Mercedes and Ferrari that they could not even tell who was in other cars or what tyres they were on - eight laps to discover that Bottas had come in and fitted the white walled mediums and not the yellow walled softs. And, no, he did not have to make another stop.

I loved it when they asked Pat Symonds (Williams) about how the Mercs and Ferraris were doing and he politely informed them that he could not care less as he had his own team to look after.

To be quite honest WM, the Spanish tele is the same - all we had today, apart from a couple of shots of the pit lane, was the normal procession of the front runners. And highlights of all the Maldanoda bits, which they love

I like Pat Symonds comment too.

Disappointed for Nico and so so bored with Lewis. Even the Sauber boys let me down this week.

Did everybody get a Mad Man Aldo clatter or did it just seem that way?

I watched the F1. It was mostly a procession, as always.

I also watched the MotoGP motorbikes and without exaggeration, it was 50 times more entertaining than F1.
