Happy Valley

Didn't see this when it was on BBC but it is currently being shown here and we've been recording it. Tonight we caught up on episode 4, and when it was finished we sat there saying "but I want to know what happens next" so we found the last two episodes on Youtube and watched till the end. What a brilliant series, Sarah Lancashire was absolutely wonderful.

As an aside, I am almost sure that one of the actors in it was at the same dance as us in the Blackpool Tower last Saturday night! I saw him and Mr Osc and myself talked about it, then later on one of our friends pointed him out and said he looked very familiar - turns out she is a big fan of the series too, so it's very possible it was him.

Osc, we had a good thread on the Entertainments board about it.

The bit where Sarah Lancashire was trying to get into her police car and the girl inside could not open it was as good a piece of acting as has been seen anywhere.

New series later in the year. :D :D :D
