I like the Peak District too.

But you know where I will say, so I won't bother

However, we are thinking of going to Kent in September as that is a county we have never been to.

I looked at an apartment in Meva MM but although they accept dogs I'd rather have a garden.

I think we might go with Launceston. It cuts out that awful A road into Cornwall - it has been known to take us as long to get from Oakhampton to St Agnes as it does from home to Oakhampton because of that road!

It's close to the beach and only 45 minutes from where Fruity is on holiday at the same time. It's set in 17 acres (ideal for my running) and has a fishing lake for Mick.

Just got to show it Mick and hope it's still available on Wednesay (it's a little complex and there's 4 available).

I've devided not to ask mum. It'll be nice for just the four of us to go and I might suggest mum and I do a coach tour weekend somewhere later in the year.

Lol Ossie.

Both Asbourne and Buxton are nice, and their surrounding areas.

I know you are almost sorted now, but could I just throw North Devon into the mix?

Very very similar to Cornwall, but just that bit more accessible.

I would recommend North Wales. We've been there dozens of times
and never get tired of it.

I was just about to recommend Wales too! It's really beautiful, we loved the short holiday we had there a few years back. C'mon Debih, you can go to Cornwall any time, go somewhere different.

Mick and I fancy Wales but I think the girls would be bored. I've put Mick off the Lakes for that same reason.

All,they want to do is beach and bodyboard.

I do fancy abroad Kaz, the more I think about it but May half term is only a week. I'll have a look in the travel agents when I'm passing though and look online.

Just a very cursory glance at a Greek island holiday and we're looking at £577 per person, plus fees, plus passports, plus spending money. For a week!

We gave to stick to school holidays and this next one also includes a bank holiday.
