The Random Thread

Kids were at grandparents today, so my morning plan was, long luxiourious shower, followed by dishes, a couple of loads of washing, washing the floors, washing the carpet in the dinning room, and washing the car. Are you seeing a theme here? It all involves water. Guess who's street had a burst watermain today? Yep. We had no water for 3 hours.

We are going to have to complain to the owner at the Capri

We could have done it on Tuesday night, but didn't wnt to make a fuss, as it would have caused uproar in there.

We've been using it for 12 years and I really really object to being over-charged.

It's not Joao or Fabio, but one of the new waiters. How 4 beers can be 5.50 (when they're a euro each) is beyond my maths and I've never ever been charged for a side salad before. So a little word in Fabio's ear, as we go past this morning.

Today's breakfast was 3 bacon butties, and a packet of cheese and ham crisps.

I'm still hungry.
