Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 11 Apr 2015, 06:40

Good morning. :D :D

No time for a run today as I have to be at work for 9.30 - we're having a staff 'training' day. :D

Basically just going over all aspects of teaching, lots of chatting and coffee and then boss lady is treating us all to a big fat lunch at Mama Lucia's.

That'll take us up to about 4 o'clock and then I'm meeting Don to go to Paco's to watch the Malaga-Atletico Madrid game. :D

I'll be ready for more food by the time that finishes so no doubt a takeaway.

Have a great day everyone. x

Morning Ally, morning all :)
We have rain! Supposed to clear up later I think, and it is clearing that polluted air.

Bb is working most of the day although he just might be finished in time for me to pop into town.
Did nothing yesterday, was tired out (the jab knocks me out a bit anyway), hopefully will be a bit more with-it today.
Loving our Sky though, and today there are two matches in the IPl to look forward to :D
Hope you all have a good day
Di

Morning Ally, enjoy all that, it sounds great fun :)

Morning everyone :) Well I won't be getting to see my Chris' new flat today after all, as with the sofa in the car there is no room for anyone but the driver! Chris has a very bad back at the moment (has missed some work with it) so as Mick will need help to get the sofa in Harry and his dad are going to help - they only live a mile or so away. I've bought him a new throw to hide the worn patch on the sofa and written him a card out, but am sorry I won't be seeing it yet! We'll be back down again next month for C's birthday, so I'll get my chance soon

It's a bit 'fresher' here today, it was raining earlier, but thankfully all of the holiday washing is done and I even got the bedding done as well yesterday! Might tackle some of the ironing, but then again I might go out for a walk instead :P B isn't working - she has a long shift tomorrow instead - so I might see if she wants to come out with me......Oh I have some violas to plant as well, I bought some gorgeous looking ones from the Farmers Market in town yesterday 8-)

Di I thought the same when I saw the fresher weather! Even though it was only moderate pollution here in the West I still had scratchy eyes all day :? Enjoy the cricket :D

Have a good day everyone :) xxxx

Morning Ally, Di, Kaz and everyone

We have sunshine :D and a few clouds, but it's lovely and warm :D

Enjoy your lunch Ally x

Di, now you've got sky, just stay in and relax and watch hours of rubbish - and cricket ;)

We've decided (well, I did  ) to get rid of the pots with the hibiscus plants in. They're really woody and not producing lots of flowers and it will tidy up the garden a bit, so that's today's job.

Bbq again tonight, hopefully without the umbrella

Have a great day everyone, especially our holiday girl :D :D

Morning all :D

Windy and a bit overcast here, such a difference from the lovely sunshine we had yesterday.

We're off up to London later. My brother's son is being christened tomorrow morning and I've been asked to be godmother. The service starts at 10.30 so we've been invited to stay overnight. Fingers crossed we have a nice dry day.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all. Lovely and sunny here now after some very heavy rain in the early hours.

I slept and slept last night - I obviously needed it. I was in bed by 8pm and turned the tv off at 9am, Other than being woken briefly by the rain during the night, I slept straight through until about 8.45am.

Pottering today - I'm going to go for a run when I take S to work and then come home and do some bits and pieces. Nothing major - the girls are back at school on Monday so I'll blitz the house next week. It looks like a bomb site!

We are off to a 60th birthday party tonight although I'm not keen on going as I don't like the birthday boy. But I really, really like his wife and it was the pleading look in her eye when she asked me if we were going the other day that has made me go. A few other friends are going (who feel the same way about him) so it should be an okay do.
