Definitely! And she always looks so miserable :|

I mean she must be about my age, maybe slightly younger, and the things I can clearly remember, she says she's never seen before. It's just so daft.

I am thinking that she is 50ish and that would mean she should be able to remember things from the 70s onwards. Nothing from the 80s should be a mystery to her.......

"Keep them away from sharp and pointy things!" is what I said a few posts back referring to just that!

Wait till you get to the 80s when mum would have been in her mid-teens, or thereabouts. She must have been in a coma or high on sherbet fountains for the whole decade.  :P

That's next - I was hoping to see it today, but as we've spent most of the afternoon round at D's we've not got round to it yet - maybe later ;)

Gal absolutely, but then that's what makes it entertaining I suppose - a family who coped beautifully wouldn't be really   ;)

The 90s. Did you see that overflowing pan of tortellini? And there was another tin opener! And doesn't the whole family love dry food - dry meatballs with dry carrots and cabbage and a spoonful of beans?

Me and the ex used to sometimes play 'Can't cook, won't cook' and bring in bags of odd stuff for the other to make us both a meal out of. I don't ever remember chicken and banana curry, though. ;) :D :D
