Morning all - poorly house here, not only Tom poorly but now me as well He's still asleep as I type (In bed) but I have got up as I feel slightly less pathetic when I am on the move....tbf mine is 'just' a cold I think, although I do feel a bit hot as well and have a nasty cough and sneezes, enough to interrupt sleep Just as well it's my day off, although by now I'd usually be having a latte in town but a) T's car is on the drive so stopping me getting mine out of the garage (I don't like moving his car) and B) I don't know if I could be *rsed As it is, I have just washed a couple of loads and have hung them out.

Good afternoon all, it's gorgeous here! The washing's on the line and Tom's on a blanket on the lawn doing his revision

I walked Billy a little earlier that usual, with all intentions of getting back early and getting a headstart on some jobs. It never happens that way though. A man who was walking his dogs stopped to chat so there went half an hour! I'd never met him before but I know his life story, and that of his parents too (including his Dad's war record). Bless him, I suppose I could be the only person he speaks to all day so I won't begrudge him my time.

John's cycled into work this morning. His company are having a little do for him tonight - food in the office after work and then drinks in Lichfield - as he's been working there for 20 years. He'll get the bus back afterwards with Bob who he works with, his wife doesn't drive either so they have no other choice He's going to text me when they're on the way and me and Billy will walk down to town to the bus station to meet him (perhaps I should say run, we covered the 2 miles in no time a couple of weeks ago when there was a retirement do and I told Billy we were meeting 'Dad' off the bus ).
