Good Morning Saturday!

Postby JoM » 04 Apr 2015, 07:22

Morning all, it's a dull and drizzly start here. Sure we were forecast a dry day!

Off up to Manchester later, football for me and Joe and John and his bike are tagging along and going to Saddleworth Moor. We'll meet him for something to eat afterwards. Looking forward to time with Joe, I just have to remember to feed him at regular intervals or he gets grumpy

Have a good day all!

Off to top up the beer supplies  and wine  and then I really think we should start our diets - again  - on Monday

Have a great day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning.

We have lots of sunshine here, which is good after all the rain we have had lately.

We are off to a large open air market in Preston soon.

Have a good day everybody.

Oliver caught his first fish today. The fish wasn't going to have any second chance as I was only able to retrieve the hook once I set about gutting it. It was a beautiful snapper and oh so yum on our plates.

Jo, Sashas the same with turning feral if not fed at regular intervals. Oliver (oddly for a boy) is quite happy to get a meal an hour or two late.

The kids have been (insert favourite expletive here) and hubby ended up sending them to bed tonight straight from dinner. So now the easter bunny is trying to work out how to hide the eggs in a TINY batch that wobbles as you walk. I was going to do it as he read the bedtime stories.

Second night of waiting for this eclipse. I got the day wrong last night which I realised far to late in the evening.

Have a good day everyone

Morning :)
Still dull here but not damp, so a slight improvement.
Bb's gone off working - local so should be done by lunchtime, since he won't be fighting the traffic too much.
I've just had a hot cross bun for breakfast, ooh I do love them :) Youngest yet to surface ;)

Wow Weka a real proper edible fish, definitely something to remember :D
I learnt to gut fish the hard way, when in Portugal and we couldn't resist buying straight from the boat but then had to deal with it ourselves - holding them under running water helped :)
Poor boy Saundra, he'll soon get used to his crutches though x

Don't think we're up to anything, given Bb working half the day and the gloomy weather. Youngest going home before dinner, which I must do something about I guess :)
Have fun

Afternoon all, nice day here, Mr Osc is sitting out on the terrace. Miss Osc rang earlier to say they wouldn't be here for Easter dinner tomorrow (they are hosting dinner for SIL's family in support of his sister and her children, a week after her husband died). I was a bit disappointed but totally understand, we can have a family meal another time. So the big piece of lamb went back in the freezer, and I got a small rack of lamb in the butchers for ourselves and my sister.

Going for a walk on the pier shortly and will probably do some ironing this afternoon. Saundra, I'm sure he is already flying around on his crutches! Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here, definitely not worth getting up early so we had a nice looooong lie in instead

Well done Oliver 8-)

No plans for today, just the usual washing and house tidy up.

Hope you all have a good day :D
