Morning all. A lovely lazy morning for me. Girls stayed at mums last night so nice and quiet here. Dog walked and now I'm just having breakfast and then going to do some more cross stitch. Its slow going - I spent about 3 hours doing it yesterday and have hardly done anything!

My back feels so much better this morning. The pain has gone and now its just a stiffness (I hope I'm not speaking too soon). I did some exercises for sciatica yesterday afternoon and then again just before bed and I put my magnesium oil on at breakfast, lunch, dinner and bedtime and this morning I woke up to find it was very stiff but no pain. I've already applied the magnesium oil and I'm going to do the exercises again around lunchtime when I'm not quite so stiff.

Trip to the orthodontist with L later and then both girls have a hair appointment and then home to do more cross stitch. I still can't knit because of my elbow so its nice to have a new project to do.

Morning all - a rather dull start to the day weather wise but given I'm at work it's OK. I was meant to have this week off to do my usual Easter week in the garden but moved it to the week of the 13th instead because we were quite busy at work - just as well really; the weather this week has been horrid. I'm hoping this Easter weekend will be a bit better so I can get some stuff done

Enjoy the relaxing morning Debih and good luck with the various appointments for the girls later today.
Ally, your day sounds huge amounts of fun; enjoy!

Enjoy the day everyone, whatever it is you're up to and vibes to any poorlies that need them xxx

Morning Ally, Debih, Meriad and everyone

A little hazy this morning, but still going to be a lovely day :D

We're off down to the monthly market later, as I would still like to find those shoes  and a couple of other bits and bobs to do.

Then a sit and people watch, at Nizette's.

Glad you're feeling better Debih, don't rush things though xx

Hope you all have a good day, whatever you're doing and continued hugs for the poorlies x

Morning all :D

Bit dull and overcast here, hope it brightens up as the day goes on.

What have you all got planned for Easter? We're planning a lazy few days, we saw Z and the boys last weekend and our eldest M is off to Cornwall to spend some time with our great grandchildren. The CH treat all the residents to an egg each and they're having a tea dance on Sunday so mother's nicely catered for too. Tbh we stopped buying each other eggs years ago so it will be a normal weekend for us, but I will do something nice for dinner on Sunday, not sure what yet though

We're off out to M&S and Tesco after brekkie, need to stock up on fresh veggies etc., not planning to do any more shopping until next Tuesday.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning :)
Dull and drizzly here.
I had a lovely long sleep, starting to feel more human.
Stomach is still 'delicate' so being careful what I put in it - we had sheperds pie last night and there's enough for tonight as well. I know it's a good idea to eat the same/similar things for a while, as well as just plain food. I have the probiotic now so that should help it sort itself out.

Today Bb's not working till lunchtime so will have time to hoover, we might pop out as well.

Debih so glad to hear your back's improving, it's so wearing. Annoying about the knitting isn't it, I can barely do any before my back plays up - have you tried using circular needles, that should help a fair bit (not to knit in circles lol, just use them as straights). Also crochet is easier on the arms and back.
Ally have fun :)
Meriad according to the weather this morning it should be mostly dry at least, I'm hoping to get a bit done in the garden too.
Hope you all have a good day

Ps Morning Jen! We're having youngest Friday/Saturday so just us Easter day for a change. We'll have eggs (haven't bought Bb's yet, haven't been out!), and hopefully a lovely piece of lamb, a big treat.

Morning all, not a very nice day here. The builders are here, supposed to be putting up our new gutter and downpipe, but don't see it on the back of his truck   our patience is wearing thin at this stage. Today is babysitting day and the children will arrive soon, so that's us occupied for the rest of the day.

We hope to host Easter Sunday dinner here, but that could change now due to the death of SIL's brother-in-law as he may want to spend time with his sister and family, if that happens it will just be ourselves and my sister. Won't know for sure until Saturday. We don't bother with eggs for each other, I don't eat chocolate anyway or only ever a tiny amount. Mr Osc loves Cadbury's mini eggs and had his first packet yesterday. I have eggs for Michael, Miss Osc and SIL though.

Have a good day everyone :)

Change of plan.

Tom arrived with our "new" car, so I just had time to whizz down to the chemist and also to get the lotto.

He's now gone off in our old one, we've now got HiHo :D :D :D

Good afternoon all. It's quite bright now after a grey start. I've been to the gym, stripped the beds and the bedding is now drying out on the line and I've also taken Billy for a very long walk. Hopefully I'll be able to get him out again later before the forecast rain starts.

Food shopping tonight and the boys break up this afternoon - they're getting let out a whole 20 minutes early! Tom's got a driving lesson at 4pm. I'm really pleased that Joe's gone the whole half term without a sick day. From mid-December up until mid-Feb, the end of the last half term, he was coming down with cold after cold and was feeling really knocked about each time but I've been dosing him up on Vit C and Zinc and he's stayed well :D

No real plans for Easter Sunday, Tom's home and I believe M is working so he'll be here on his own. Not sure he'll be awake though as he's working until 2am on Sunday morning. I've bought myself an egg this year as I never get one from John and the boys. I will enjoy that :P

Have a good day all!
