Whoops, I am in the doghouse!

I've just dyed my hair, standing in front of the bathroom basin to apply it, then rinsing off in the shower - what I didn't realise until about 15 minutes later when I left the bathroom, was that the door had been ajar and somehow a huge splodge of dye had gone across the (beige) bedroom carpet, near the door

Why does blonde hair dye come in bright purple anyway????

I would be a lot more upset if I hadn't been angling for new carpets for some time..........

I refuse to dye it, now, as the sun just leeches all the colour out.

Mine bleaches out quickly in sunshine too, which is why I wanted to leave dyeing it until right before we go

We don't have to dye our hair. We are both silver surfers and just use a good shampoo and conditioner

Oops Kaz! I got a small spot of eyelash dye on our bathroom carpet. It catches my eye everytime I go in there
