Yes, once the temp goes down to 180 and, say, 15 mins have passed you have to keep checking. Mine is an oldish no-fan gas oven so maybe not as accurate.

The loaf should still taste pretty good, if a bit "crusty".

They are more blissful if they aren't burnt. :P ;) :lol:
