When we went to Bruge for a week we came across a drink called Cecemel. L and I fell in love with it and were buying it from the little supermarket like it was going out of fashion. As we had driven over we decided to buy some to bring back with us.

Unfortunately we opened a carton and had a drink before we left and that carton got put in the bag with Mick's clothes......................

We have never found anything like Cecemel in the UK so our friends often bring us a few cartons over when they visit from Bruge. The closest thing to it is a chocolate oat drink they sell in Sainsburys, but it isn't as thick.

  At Mick's chocolate covered clothes.

Reminds of when we knew we were going to live in Spain but hadn't decided where yet.

On one of our trips over Don (who is the most generous man in the world but a tight ass with the weirdest things!) had bought a carton of tomato juice and as it hadn't been opened packed it in the suitcase! :o
It cost 40 cents for gawd's sake!

Anyway..we land at Luton, he picks the case from the carousel and 2 Spanish girls were looking on horrified as 'red coloured' liquid was dripping out the case!

They made such a song and dance about it 2 security staff came over and asked Don to open his case for them to have a look!

Me? I waited outside for him.

Serves him right..half his t shirts had to be thrown away.

     Very very sorry Ton.

Yes..especially as in Mercadona the juice aisle is next to the mop and bucket aisle. Oh I do laugh!

  This is really funny as I've just reminded Don of the tomato juice saga..and we've both been in stitches laughing.

If I can battle my way through the snow tomorrow (its coming really heavy now) I will buy a cauliflower and some cheese triangles.

Sadly, not Cecemel.
