Afternoon all. I am here - I came on hours ago to post and then got waylaid (although I am at work so that's fair enough).

I'm feeling so much better back wise this morning. My back has been agony for the past week or so and I didn't know what it was - had I done something to it at the allotment, had I done something to it running or was it the mattress (Mick had been getting back pain so turned the mattress and found it disappeared). Well, as Mick was away on Monday night I turned the mattress back again and this morning my back was pretty much fine. Mattress shopping next week I think.

At work for another hour or so and then going for a run - I'm expecting it to be pretty busy along the canal as its gorgeous.

Guides for L tonight and I'm taking them (her and her friends) there and back so using the opportunity to catch up with another of the mums for coffee.

Di that does sound a bit more positive! :) xxx

Debih it does sound as thought the mattress is the culprit. We have a memory form one, it's bliss!

Just quickly popping in - glad to hear you are both feeling a bit brighter today Kaz and Di x

Gorgeous day here - I started out with a spot of tummy probs, but we went for a spin to Newton by the Sea - about a half hour from here (for those not on FB we are on holiday in Northumberland :D ) and the sea air plus the beach helped enormously :D Only downside is the amount of walking we are doing has made my hip/back problem worse and also, to cap it all, I have the most enormous blister on my right big toe! Sooooo annoying as I am raring to go in my head, but my body isn't playing ball   T went for a 9 hole golf game after we got back to the cottage, and I joined him after a little while. We are chilling in the cottage atm, I'll cook us something soon and then a quiet night in for us I think 8-) Last full day tomorrow (forecast is wet :| but we HAVE been really lucky up to now!) so we may pop to Alnwick....home Friday and then I have work Saturday am

Hugs to all xxx

Sounds fabulous Gal, apart from the pains and blisters that is ;) I'd look for a chemists' and buy some blister plasters, they are great ;) :)

I hope you have a lovely last day tomorrow, rain or shine :) xx

I doubt it'd stay on, Kaz, the blister is right on the very corner of my toe....I think it's my walking shoes that's causing it, I always wear two pairs of socks with them, my hiking socks are soooo thick and comfy, but maybe I should really have bought the next size up :| Might have to do so before we do more walking. Just worn my normal knee boots today and toe is fine, but hip is keep 'clicking' Starting yoga classes next week!!! :D
