that is beyond absolutely annoying and totally 100% unacceptable. I really hope the delivery company deal with this as they should.

But in the meantime, I know you can't install bollards or anything like that because of possible planning regulations, but what about getting a corner planter (depending on how much space you have to the front of the property that is) and planting that up with some nice easy maintenance shrubs. Maybe the pub can help with the maintenance of the planters given it's because of them that you have to do this.

Or alternatively two or three heavier concrete planters along the side of the wall; again forcing the delivery people to change their angle of delivery?

What a boor the delivery man must be. It's enough to make the blood boil. Ria's planter idea is a good one and it would serve the dual purpose of stopping the damage and looking good.

Mmmmm, that's an interesting idea  We would not be able to put anything on one side of the corner as that is the public footpath. However Mr Osc is mulling over the idea of some kind of planters along the actual gable wall, although it is our wall, the actual ground on which they would stand belongs to the pub so would need to be done in agreement with the owner. Worth thinking about, thank you :D :D

My worry is, who owns the walkway: you, the pub or the council?

Sorry, Osc, but if it is you it becomes your problem. If it is the pub it is their and the delivery men's problem. If it is a public right of way it becomes the council problem.

I hate to say this, but it could be an intractable problem unless you can come to an agreeable solution with the pub's landlord.
