Afternoon all, another lovely day here. Miss Osc and SIL have gone to visit SIL's BIL in hospital so we are babysitting. Miss Osc has just texted to say that BIL is being allowed home for a few hours so they are going to bring him and save his wife having to go into the hospital. Later on Miss Osc and I are going for a meal before going to see the lovely Mr Brendan Cole in his show, so a very pleasant evening ahead.

Sorry to hear you are poorly Di, these tummy doses are so debilitating. Have a good day everyone :)

They were really good.
Asked me a ton of questions and ended up saying I definitely needed to see an OOH gp. I didn't know anything about the system but it seems there is one gp on duty at the local hospitals.
They gave me an appt for 6pm but did also say if I wanted to go earlier I could go to Ringwood (no thanks!).

It was just 6 when I went in, a very nice South African chap. As far as he can tell it's a virulent gastroentiritis (I thought you threw up with that) and could last 5 days  . He gave me more immodium, said yes you will feel rubbish, and if it's no better by Tuesday to phone my gp.
The other possibility is e coli but until/unless it doesn't get better they can't tell :?
Fingers crossed then ;)

Feel utterly c*ap, slept a lot of the afternoon. Trying to do as told and eat but don't fancy anything.
Bb in kitchen doing pasta (as suggested by doc), with tomatoey sauce, onion and peppers.
Temperature normal at the moment, which is something - had 4 layers on last night and still shivering.

Ps Ally

Blandish pasta sounds just the thing Di, hope you can manage some! :)

I will have everything crossed that it's 'just' the gastroenteritis 8-) xxxx

I didn't fancy it Ton, didn't fancy anything, but Bb has to eat after all, and the doc said pasta was good but no dairy :?
Ate 8 or 9 pieces of penne :?
We have eggs, so if I can fancy it tomorrow egg on toast is probably a good idea :?
