Morrisons Match and More card

Postby miasmum » 17 Mar 2015, 23:23

I am loving this scheme. I have no idea how it works, but those little machines have churned me out £50 in vouchers since the end of October. I am like a child, I stand watching the machine and if it starts to flash I know there's a voucher on its way and I almost clap my hands in excitement. Plus today I got a voucher for £6.00 off a £40 shop and Saturday I got one for £7.50 off a £50 shop.

Tesco manage to send me £4.00 a quarter for their club card

Wow  We've still got the temporary card, despite me sending off for the plastic one ages ago. I did message them on FB, but despite someone on there saying they would sort it, I've heard nothing :(

I'm glad for you, but a bit peeved that despite us doing our main shop there each week, we aren't getting these voucher benefits :? I need to chase this up again!

I have one of their cards but have not yet had a voucher. Don't get a big shop from there which may explain things.
Soon got my plastic card after I had logged on on the internet.

I think I might ring their customer services cruiser, I got the number from the website ;)

We do our main shop, which is why I'm a bit peeved not to be getting these money off vouchers

Go on their website, Kaz and email them from there.
They usually reply quickly.

It obviously depends on where you do you main shop, to see what works best

I buy most of my cat food, cleaning products and non-perishables from Tesco so get lots of money off vouchers etc from them. The only things I've had from Morrisons are - same as you Shell - x amount of money off if you spend over a certain amount; which I never do at Morrisons. Tesco on the other hand works a lot better for me as I also get the "x amount off per £ spend" vouchers but in addition I get money off / extra points on specific items that I regularly buy. And because I do online shopping with Tesco all of these vouchers are on the system so I just have to tick them to use them.

Without trekking a fair distance to shop we have the choice of Sainsburys (expensive), the Co-Op (a really grotty old shop) and Iceland (cheap but not much choice).

If I am shopping local I tend to go to Sainsburys as they just have more choice.

But if I am doing a big shop and am driving somewhere I tend to go to Aldi or Lidl. I like Morrisons but we don't have one anywhere near us - I would have to drive past about 6 other supermarkets to get to one which seems pretty pointless.

Ah well!! :) I had one last go at messaging them on FB and this time a very helpful girl sorted it out for me. I'd messaged the card number slightly wrongly (missed off the last digit  ) and once we'd got that settled it seems that for some reason or other my card hadn't been activated. So she asked for my phone number and rang me, told me I had about £30 in vouchers coming to me and was going to add a further 5 000 points onto the new card for the inconvenience.

She really was a credit to the company, I hope they appreciate her 8-)
