Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 20 Mar 2015, 06:45

Good morning. :D

Chucked it through the night but dry at the moment - forecast to be unsettled for a few days so will be dodging the showers when out for me runs.

After today's run I shall be mooching at home watching all this week's Masterchefs. :D :D

Usual Friday night beers and tapas - we have two birthday peeps in the crowd so it will be madder than normal. :D

Have a great day everyone. :D

Morning Ally, morning all

Well sitting at my desk looking out the window - it's now 8.51am and the skies are totally overcast; so much for getting to see this sun eclipse :( all that'll happen is it'll go much darker in about 1/2 hour and that is it - humbug!!!

Oh well usual work day for me; and then off to Karl and Nadine after work; in the hope that the clouds do lift we're having a BBQ this evening; well it is Friday after all

Have lovely day everyone, whatever it is you're up to

xx

Ria it is cloudy here too - ah well  Well once it gets light again, after the eclipse, I'll be out for a looong walk to try to walk off my self-indulgence of yesterday    I need to do some washing first I think.....

Enjoy your shenanigans Ally :D Hope you dodge the rain ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, total cloud cover here too :( I'm really disappointed. We are up since 7am as the electrician was coming at 8am to do a few finishing off bits and pieces, he has been and gone. Going to Miss Osc's at 11am to look after the children, she has a meeting and SIL is down the country. Apparently yesterday was a very difficult day, Michael sore and upset, she sounded exhausted when I was talking to her last night. Poor little boy, it's hard for him to understand why he feels weird after the anaesthetic, and he finds the cast and sling so awkward, but I'm sure things will improve over the next few days.

Supposed to be going dancing tonight, but it depends how tired I feel, a quick nap later on will help me decide - my sinuses are acting up so I feel a bit sluggish, we shall see. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning everyone

Cloudy now, but we did catch a glimpse of a sort of eclipse earlier :D

Plan B for today, as Tom is coming over at 11.00. So the bits and bobs I was going to get this morning will have to wait until this afternoon, or more probably, Monday   Might be nicer then anyway ;)

Hope Michael is feeling a bit mor with it today Osc, very difficult when they're so young - a gentle hug on it's way x

Have a good day everyone, hugs for the poorlies xx

Morning all. I'm not long home from my run/jog/shuffle. TWENTY MINUTES WITHOUT STOPPING. I'm along way from a 30 minute 5k as with my 5 minute warm up and my slow 20 minute shuffle I only managed to cover 2.75k (I actually walked back quicker than I jogged there!!!).

Now I'm about to go and paint the laundry room.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here, just as well really as I suspect we slept right through the eclipse

Couple of viewings today, not expecting too much, both are a bit over our top budget and both look as though they'll need some work. We saw a lovely one earlier in the week and have been mulling it over ever since. The bungalow itself is lovely, but it's in a small village with one shop which is currently under threat of closure. Obviously we don't want to buy anything where we might eventually feel stranded so we've been doing as much research as possible, looking at bus timetables etc. We've booked to go back and take another look tomorrow, at the moment it's a case of heart over head, just need to see if we can get the two a bit closer...........

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon :)

I'm officially exhausted :( Had a very long, tiring day yesterday - phone calls, thinking, decisions, organising, etc - plus 2 washing loads. So tired I couldn't think straight by 9 o'clock and went to bed, slept more or less til 8 this morning.
Still feel drained, also have an upset tum so that may be part of it - am giving myself the day off ;)

Meriad hope you get your Bbq, a lovely start to the weekend :)
Ally I have all of M/chef to catch up with too, also the sewing Bee final.
Osc I'm sure little Michael will be his usual happy self within a few days but for now it's hard for all of you (((xx)))
