A killer hill walk after my coffee.

Home to get a few things done ready for our impending visitors and our trip away.

Work 4 - 9 then meeting Don in town for a few beers and a bite to eat.

Can't remember the last time I got up at silly o'clock As a result of my medication review I've an early GP appointment for a fasting blood test and then off up to the hospital for a hip xray. Afterwards we'll pop over to M&S and Tesco to do some shopping.

Morning all and happy birthday to the birthday girls

I've been playing washung machine repair man today. I need a part that is cheep as chips in the UK (I think) and ridiculously expensive here, so I'm tossing up if I should get one shipped or buy a new machine. I've had a love hate with it and it has done almost 8 years and is starting to rust on the front. Bleep machine, I was hoping to get another few years out of it. I've fixed it for now, but I think I only have a few washes left in it, so I'm saving them for best.

We've had rain, now have clouds and a little sunshine. Staying put today

Bente is coming over later and then I intend to clean my new oven (not my favourit job ) and I'l going to wash down the kitchen walls, which are all tiled anyway, but it's the moving of stuff that takes the time.

Then I'm going to settle down and finish my Jill Mansell book, 25 cents in the charity shop yesterday
