I had to ask a friend today, as Grumpy wanted fish and chips one night, the best fish, which wasn't fishy :? :? :? :lol: :lol: :lol:

Ton, in your part of the world that would be Hake. It's a Cod/Haddock relative similar to Whiting. However, it would be too big for Ria's pond and is not a freshwater fish.

Try it battered with chips and mushy peas - delish. :P :P :P

:lol: :lol: :lol: LOL Kaz, not sure I'd want to eat a goldfish - I suspect they've just lots of little bones - eewww

Ton, I'm similar to you. I do eat fish (sometimes), but very seldom any form of 'white' fish because it just starts tasting too fish and too much like Durban harbour after about three mouthfulls :lol: I do however like salmon, monk fish, tuna steaks etc but the rest I can quite happily leave :)
