As he likes a nice pint of beer (and by amazing coincidence so do I!
) I've booked a tour at a micro brewery in the jewellery quarter in Hockley. It's the Two Towers Brewery Company and it's roughly 90 minutes of being shown round the brewery at how the beer is made and lots of local knowledge and facts are given by the tour guide Mark.
I know Don will really enjoy this..and the fact 2 pints of different beers are also on the menu will be the icing on the cake!
The only date left that had two places is actually on the 14th at 6.30pm so it's fitted in nicely with my plans.
Fly to Brum in the morning, book into the hotel, have lunch in town then go and see Joanie, off to the brewery tour and then a curry at Don's favourite Balti house.
