hello dear, I had radiotherapy five years ago and suffered terrible problems since with reflux and congestion.. However I accepted this as part and parcel of the treatment. Sadly I do not think that one is always in the hands of experienced radiologists as in my case, however I accepted this as part and parcel of the treatment. all radiologists have to learn. Its
"One foot in front of the next". We are lucky today in as much as treatments are amazingly successful with respect to cancer. A "Positive attitude" is important xxxxx

Kate that's why I posted about it, when it's for pain relief it not the same at all.
Often it's just one quick blast, but even if a series of 5 or so, it's not the same when it's applied to bones, that's the difference (((x)))

Thanks Di and Cal, between the bone scan and my forthcoming cataract op on the 18th, its going to be an eventful month.. I confess I am terrified at the thought of the cataract removal. I have cancelled it twice. But I realise it has to be done.

My beloved used to say the medical profession would put me down within 48 hours if I was confined for any length of time in hospital.
When I had breast surgery I informed my surgeon that I would only go ahead with the op if I could leave when it was over . I think they thought I would quieten down following surgery, however I was looking for my clothes when my surgeon they had called arrived by my bedside.
I was told to get back into bed, oxygen mask clapped back on my face, however four hours later I went home feeling fine... I get on well with my Oncologist who arranged for my jazz band "Dr Jazz named after him" to play at the Oncology unit in Cheltenham, we had the patients tapping their feet, the worried expressions on their faces turned to smiles as they tapped their feet and danced their way for radiotherapy and chemo. He asked me how my jazz band was going "I gave up playing over six months ago " I said much to his disappointment.
I have been asked to form a band again but I don't really have the energy .
