That sounds lovely Aggers - it's a fast day for us so any mention of food gets me drooling :D

I've today and Monday left so should be able to drop a couple of lbs if I'm really good ;) A nice coffee is helping right now.
The jeans fit :D They're not quite perfect but they do look ok and are comfortable, which is good enough versus the hassle of sending them back and finding another pair :D

Glad you're feeling better Saundra, do take it easy (((x)))
Have fun with those lovely children Osc :)

Kaz it's the only drawback; when we saw this house, we also saw another with a south-facing garden, but although it was the 'same' house, we both hated it!
It was overlooked at the back, the garden was open, just a fence, and all sorts of things.
This garden is walled so nicely protected, but faces Eastish, it must be the same as Saundra's as we're just now getting a bit of sun in the top left corner ;)
Later in the year it's lovely, as we do get blazing sunshine when it's higher in the sky, but also have a bit of shade most of the time.

They've just gone

They're sending us copy of photos and wording so we can agree or change things - berlimey, such a difference.

And Carla was telling us what they'll be doing to try and sell - she reckons it will go fairly quickly :D :D :D

Hello all. Just got back from taking Mrs C's uncle Jimmy to the doctor's to have his toenail removed. Ow.

Whilst sitting in the carpark watching Featherstone's finest drift in and out of the surgery I thought what a pity Adolf Hitler never got the chance to people watch like this.

He would have returned to Germany a broken man, his theory of the supremacy of the Aryran peoples crushed forever.

I suppose I shouldn't be judgemental but there weren't many happy, well turned out people there. I don't think people dress as smartly as they used to. They just looked shabby and beaten down and depressed.

Afternoon all.

I was up bright and early this morning - no idea why but it did mean that my ironing was done before it became light. Out with Millie before the girls got up, doctors with L about her sore throat (three weeks now and no change - more antibiotics prescribed), home to clean and hoover, washing on, back out again to the supermarket as I decided to shop today instead of tomorrow, home and out with Millie again to deliver some papers to a new board member who lives near us and now I'm just finishing my lunch and deciding what to do this afternoon.

Read or ride. I can't decide.

The book has won.

But only because the farrier is at the stables this afternoon.

Good afternoon all, it's rater grey here today after a few nice sunny ones. Gym first thing and then back for a long walk over the common. I haven't got much to do this afternoon so think I'll make some coffee and read before taking Bill out again.

I've just had a text from Tom, he's had his first driving lesson this morning. He said he enjoyed it and has booked for next week - good thing seeing as we've paid up front for 14 so far for his 18th birthday present  Funny number but the first four lessons are £35 and then it's £200 for 10 lessons. His instructor is John's friend, he has a driving school and we've said for years that we'd use him for the boys. He's a lovely fella and is very calm and patient. He's teaching M too, she'd had a couple on instructors who let her down so asked for his number and she thinks he's fab, she's had 10 lessons with him now I think.

Shopping tonight so I need to work on next week's menu and write a list. I think Aldi have bedding plants available this week so I want to look at those for the containers.

Five days Di!! :o :D

Glad you're starting to feel a bit better Saundra xx

Aggers that does sound lovely! :D

Have a good day all!
