Morning all - such a beautiful sunny morning; I just love this time of year

Kaz - don't put all the jumpers away quite yet. it seems that whilst the days are turning nice and warm the evenings are still on the rather (very) nippy side
Ton - enjoy the day shopping and hope you find all the bits and bobs you want. And don't forget - happy to buy stuff for you here for your curry's and post it over ;)
Ally - enjoy your day. I'm not big on cake but that does sound delicious
Saundra - can you get someone to buy you lucozade, ideally lucozade sport? That will help rehydrate and keep your sugar levels up. xx

Thinking of all my friends in the Cape Town area today; they've had a huge wildfire tear through the southern peninsular and the firer fighters are really struggling to get it under control due to the windy and dry weather conditions. My ex flat mate who moved back a few years ago is on stand by to evacuate her house; her sister and her children were evacuated at 1am this morning. Another friend just posted that the area now affected by the fire is 3000 hectares. It's just horrendous; but thankfully - touch wood - no one has been killed. The wildlife on the other hand had no chance

have a lovely day all

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Popping into the village to pick up a prescription after brekkie. Afterwards we've got another viewing, not really expecting to be bowled over, there's so little coming onto the market at the moment feel we should at least check them out if they sound anywhere near doable. Rightmove is great for giving room sizes etc but you honestly don't know until you actually see them.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning :)
Gorgeous here too, although cold and windy. It's set to get really warm at the weekend but could just as easily go back to freezing any time after :)

Feeling much better today.
Bb's here till this afternoon so we're going into town, I need to get mozzie spray, plus we seem to have left the plug part of our plug-in in Portugal so need to buy another.
Also I ordered a pair of jeans from M&S on Monday when it was all 20% off so will be collecting those. I decided to just get a pair and try them, couldn't face going to West Quay so fingers crossed ;)

Saundra hope you feel better soon (((x)))
Jen at least you're getting around, places will be more familiar x
Hope you all have a good day

Good afternoon all! It's gorgeous here too although very windy and cold but I can stand that if the sun's shining and the sky is blue :D I walked into town first thing to do some shopping and then took Billy for a 4 mile walk around the common when I got back. I'll hopefully take him again at tea time.

Just texting back and forth with John. He might have to go to India for a few days soon, possibly next week (he was lined up for going a few years ago so got a Visa, I need to check if it's still valid). He doesn't want to go and my reply to him was "Rather you than me".

Hope you're better soon Saundra, and lovely to hear that K is enjoying herself!

Have a good day all!
