Bright and sunny here at the moment
Enjoy coffee with Alison Kaz, it really is difficult to make new friends moving to a new area, especially when you don't work. I'm lucky because E is retired so we're more than happy with each others company for the time being, but I know we'll want to meet people when we're finally settled.
On that topic, our offer was turned down. Apparently the wife was willing to accept, but the husband is sticking out for the asking price. We've said we won't budge, the gap between what he wants and what it's actually worth is too big so no point in further negotiation. Strangely neither of us are too upset, yes we did like it and want to be settled, but not at any price. So onwards and upwards.
