I've just been on the receiving end with a really aggressive man in the supermarket
I was by the till, and he pushed his trolley past me and caught my bag and brushed against me, so I just cast him a look over my shoulder and wham "What's your problem????" "I don't have a problem, but you just caught my bag, with your trolley" Then he said something else, I can't quite remember, but it was unpleasant, so I said "Why are you being so aggressive" (as his tone of voice was really nasty, and his eyes were blazing! "Oh I can be nastier than that!!!!" he said, really glaring at me with a funny look in his eye - I thought for a minute he might be going to hit me so by this point I was a bit worried, and very shocked!
Mick was at the kiosk while all this was going on, busting a ten pound note so we could tip the boy scout who was packing for people. He came back at this point, asked the guy what was wrong, and he went off on one! So Mick just said "What's the matter, why are you being like this?" and the guy stalked off, with his wife (who had a baby in the trolley!! ) scuttling along behind him. She hadn't said a word during all this, just kept her head down - I reckon he's a big bully type (he was a mountain of a fella - about 40ish, tall, fat an bearded so rather intimidating looking TBH), and that she was a bit scared of him The lad behind the till said "Ohhh I am sorry about that!" but it was hardly his fault..........
I was shaking at this point, and could hardly get my card out of the machine Mick took me to the café for a cuppa.......
I don't know what was wrong with that man, but if he carries on like that regularly he has a big problem
