Looks like I've persuaded himself to go and see that school house in Ourique next month ;)

As long as the weather behaves

I've got a new kettle :D to replace the one I took back 3 times for the same repair

And our agent was fine about us moving to another company - he will still keep us on his books though, which is good of him, as we're going exclusive with Remax.

Thank goodness for new kettle Ton, hope it lasts :D

I've just spent over half an hour getting the bl***y dog hairs out of the hoover bar/brushes - again
Every time Bb says 'oh yes, I must do that more often' but it's me who notices it's not picking up properly and see that yet again he's forgotten all about it

Jo I know you have the same problem but with person hair, have you found anything to help get them out better?
I usually use a mini screwdriver to hook into the main bit, then scissors, plus a lot of pulling and twisting the brushes round :?

On our Dyson Di you can twist the brushes out, using a coin to turn a slot if that makes sense, and then I just have to cut the hair out. Every single time I hoover! :x

I cut them out, but here it's mainly Becky hair rather than dogs' - she has such a mane of it!

I don't do it every time though, just when it gets bunged up

Got stopped on our stroll by a woman asking if we were English, when we replied (in Portuguese, habit, can't help it  ) she then asked us in a mixture English and Portuguese, with tears in her eyes, for 5 euros, as her father has cancer.

This is the same woman who rang our door bell last year, asking for 10 euros for breakfast

Obviously thinks more of her tum than her dad
