Jo that sounds interesting, I wonder if I could get the same thing into my cupboard on the landing that houses the massive hot water tank I was amazed that we had the tank, with this house being less than ten years old I would have thought they'd have combi boilers - another cupboard for storage instead would be sooo useful here

I thought that too Kaz when we moved here as we had a combi boiler in our old house which I loved, and obviously no hot water tank taking up space. The builders and our boiler man both said though that combi boilers aren't recommended for larger houses. It does mean though that we're able to have a back up electric immersion heater should the boiler fail.

Yes, Mick said the same when I asked him We have an immersion too, which could be handy I suppose, although we've never had to use it yet!
