Postby Ally » 25 Feb 2015, 07:02

Good morning. :D

Another nice day. :D 8-) 8-)

A coffee then a quick run and back to get ready - we're off to Paloma Park market this morning in Benalmadena. :D

It's huge so need plenty of time for a mooch.

We'll have lunch somewhere over there and then I've got work 4 - 8. :D

Have a great day everyone. :D

Good morning everybody

Dull here.
Going shopping and then just relaxing and not doing much.
Outside council are still working taking up the flags and replacing them with tar macadam. They will be doing the stretch outside our drive toady so I have moved my car down the crescent
Have a good day

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Another lovely start to the day :D :D

Will go for our stroll later, when himself surfaces  , then I need to go down to the village - on my own    - he won't walk twice in one day

Then I really must do the ironing I was supposed to do yesterday, but didn't

Hope you all have a good day and sending hugs for PP and Mr PP xx

Morning everyone :)

Ally that sounds fun - and Becky is working the same hours as you today :) She likes the later shift 8-)

Ton, enjoy your walks  @ Grumpy ;)

Cruiser does it smell nice? I like the smell of tar although after a while it gets a bit headachey :? ;)

I need a good long walk today, I ended up getting the bus to town and back yesterday as I felt too rough and tired to walk far - did a fair bit of walking once I got there, round the shops :P  (got a couple of things for Cyprus) but that means I really need to walk today, there and back, no excuses ;) Had a much better night's sleep though so it shouldn't be a problem, Becky might come with me as she isn't at work until later 8-)

Have a good day everyone (((((((((((((((((x))))))))))))))))))))))

Morning all - a rather damp and grey day here today; not nice. Probably just as well it's a normal work day today :)

Ally, have fun at the market; sounds amazing
Kaz, hope you have better weather than us; not sure I'd want to go for a walk in this weather ;)
Ton, enjoy your walk(s). Why not get Grumpy to do the ironing whilst you're on your 2nd walk into town - or he can join you
Cruiser - are you pleased they're doing the replacing? Hopefully the tarmac will be smoother? Kaz, that's a smell I'm really not fond of - it's too overpowering

have a lovely day all - vibes where they are needed.

Mornng all, dull and damp out there. I have blood tests at 10.30am so am fasting and hungry! Trying to fool myself by drinking hot water and pretending it is tea

With the builders gone (well, until they come back for the snag list), we can start really making here into our home. Mr Osc is downstairs tackling the desk we bought in Argos last week, and when I get back this morning, I'm going to enjoy filling my nice new hotpress  Must go and make a list for Lidl so I can pop in on my way back from the docs. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here, just as well we went into the village yesterday.

Off to do a viewing this afternoon, it's a bungalow we looked at before Christmas. We both really liked but E wasn't ready to let go of the apartment back then, the vendor had only just started looking and didn't seem very focused on where he wanted to go so we didn't do anything about it. It's actually very near to the bungalow we've just lost, has an almost identical layout and even more importantly the conservatory extension we were planning has already been done. There are compromises, a very small garden (not a problem) and although there is a garage access is very tight. It does need a bit of updating, the kitchen particularly, but we could move straight in and do it without too much disruption while living there. It's a bit overpriced, but apparently because it's now been on the market for a while, the vendor is more open to offers. The main decider for us will depend on if/when he's likely to be proceedable. Whatever we decide it feels good to have something to look at, there really isn't a lot on the market right now.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning :)
Dull and damp here, although not actually raining. Not such a fierce wind either - I walked up to the village yesterday and practically got blown all the way back :D

Ally we loved Paloma park as you know but didn't go to the market. Our favourite tapas place is just down the hill from there ;)

Oh the sausagemeat - I made a sausage plait (aka giant sausage roll) and we had it with potatoes, veg and shallot gravy, as you would a normal meat pie. It was lovely, and we can have the 2nd half tonight with the wedges and baked beans :)
Bb's appointments were switched around a bit and he was home around 7 so I was able to time it properly. Late again tonight so I can have the oven on ready and put the wedges in as he gets in

Jen that sounds quite promising, let's hope the vendor now has firmer plans :)
Hope you all have a good day
